Pam acquired her first Afghan Hound from BETH DUROW in Pietermaritzburg in 1974 , whilst living in South Africa..
Shah accompanied Pam and her husband , Stuart when they went to live in Jersey ,and after completing his quarantine and was soon joined by two Ringerike bred Afghans from Linnea Moe and Mark Liptrot , who were shown in UK.
Under the ELANGENI Affix, Pam and Stuart bred one litter sired by Crufts BIS CH Viscount Grant , one of which, ELANGENI DANCING SHADOW achieved success , including 1 CC & BOB and 2 RESERVE CC, one of these being at Crufts.
From USA Pam imported AM CH K’AMOUR SEAFARER SUMMERWIND BBE and Brittany became the first American Afghan Hound to hold three titles of English, Irish , American Champion.
Pam is now campaigning an Australian import, JACOSTA BLACK IN A FLASH TO ELANGENI in Britain and Europe and NZ/Aust MOTI MAHAL STAR OF JHANZI, Pam also owns and shows Whippets and Salukis.
Pam’s judging career has taken her to Australia, New Zealand , Ireland, Malta and of course to South Africa , several times, where she is cleared for the Hound Group.
Pam is a member of the KC in London.
